Unhappy days

My father died on saturday morning. The funeral was monday. It has been incredibly hard for me. He was so excited about the baby. Aaron has been a wonderful distraction to everyone while we sit shiva, though. He visited with his cousins on sunday night and played in Reuben's tunnel. They are very cute together.

Negligence on the part of the blogger

I know, it's been a long time since I've put up pictures on the blog. Whenever I'm not working, I've been going up to Massachusetts to see my dad. Sometimes Aaron comes with me. Last week, we flew from Philadelphia to Providence. And if you didn't hear about any terrorist babies, it's because the TSA is on top of things, making sure that I took off Aaron's shoes to go through security. He is high risk. He was great on the flight there, but not so great on the way back. It was a stressful couple of days and he was just exhibiting how we were both feeling in the form of howls.

I worked friday through sunday, which left Mike to entertain Aaron all weekend. Sunday, they watched the superbowl and its attendant pre-game festivities. Here are two pictures Mike took:
