Change of battery

The battery for our camera died, after five years of faithful service. A new one was procured. And I remembered that I have a movie function on the camera, which I tried for the first time.



I'm not a great videographer, and I have no idea how to edit it, but Aaron doesn't care as long as he can dance, dance, dance. At the end, he has spotted a snack and WANTS IT!!

Double the grandmas

This is a picture heavy post. Aaron, Mike & I had a double dose of grandmothers this week. Grandma Linda is living with us for a while and Grandma Susan came to visit. I am more of a candid photo person, but my mom likes to pose people. Unfortunately, posing a one year old is like trying to herd cats.

Back in the saddle

I am going to resume posting with pics and anecdotes, because that's what my father would want me to do. Life hasn't really returned to normal and I'm still feeling very sad about this loss. However, Aaron is changing every day and is a delight. Last night, while I was at work, Mike emailed me this photo, with the title: Aaron finds the toilet.

He apparently also found the toilet paper, which he was ripping up into little pieces and throwing into the toilet. He and Bouts finally found some common ground.

These days, Aaron is cruising on the furniture and the walls and enjoys climbing up steps, step-stools, cardboard boxes and anything else climb-uppable. He is eating like crazy (he reportedly had two bowls full of tortellini yesterday). He laughs and plays and is generally wonderful.
