The little man is walking. Everywhere. Except when he is walking
really fast. We had our early intervention meeting a week ago and were discharged from their services. He is
too caught up. Fine with me, although the PT has free passes to a lot of great children's play places. We used our free pass to the zoo last weekend to introduce the boy to the animals (thanks to the Stratford ED for the pass!). He liked the hippos a lot, most likely because he has a plastic hippo bath toy. The children's petting zoo was a bit of a disappointment, but he and Mike posed with some livestock.

Aaron and I spent some time looking at the giant pigs. I made snorting noises and he kept blowing air out of his nose in imitation. Good stuff.

I did manage to capture him in motion recently, looking for trouble. He is magnetically attracted to the most dangerous thing in the room. In this case, a can of wasp spray.
It is a wonder I ever find my keys.
In sadder news, Linda put Yaphet down today at the vet. He was blind, deaf, incontinent and most likely diabetic. He had developed a huge hematoma under one of his ear flaps and the smell emanating from him was horrific. She was very brave, but it was sad. I'm still a little death-touchy.
