Arts & Crafts

I'd been holding off with the crafting until Aaron's arrival began to look real. However, when we learned that our application was at its final stop, I couldn't be stopped. I made this quilt, which was going to be a crib quilt, but is big enough for a twin bed.

The pictures don't really do it justice. It is bright and fun.

I also purchased yarn to make two sweaters:

Baby Boo by Alchemy in Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino

In these colors:

And Baby Hoodie by Blue Sky Alpacas in dyed cotton:

Baby yarns are sooooo soft!

The quilt is GORGEOUS! If doctoring ever gets dull, you have another career (besides the mom thing). So, I really like the cow motif and think that may be your best bet for decor other than your fabulous homemade wares. When did you think we might be leaving for V.N.? Mid Nov. works for me. Do we have to bring your dad and is it too late for me to get vaccinated? (your way out...) Are you aware that the first few letters of my secret code spell daddee....So seriously now that you have bought all of the items we could get for you, would you like a high chair or will it take up too much space? I will send a pic and let you decide. It is VERY wierd and that it why I love it. So very excited.....j...step gram? nah...half nan...no...half breed... I think not...

Great sweater choices with excellent colors. I agree that baby yarns are insanely soft. Just made Alessandra a hat using Takhi Bunny. The variegated colors are very pretty and one ball is good for a small project. If I find some more I'll send you some. Lots of love, n
