In other news...

We have decided to use the weekend between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to take a side trip to the coastal town of Hoi An. Of course, Mike found a posh resort, the Palm Garden, to stay at with Aaron. We want to make a good impression. We will be staying in a garden view bungalow.

Our contractor, Merlin (his real name), has started to work his magic in Aaron's future room. It started as a guest room with green walls and a slanty, yucky, plaster ceiling. The ceiling, walls, windows and closet will all be redone. Here are some pics of the day 1 progress:
