Sir Sleeps-a-lot proved today that he won't be pigeon-holed. He slept for a total of 30 minutes between 5:30am and 6pm. I finally rocked him to sleep and put him in the crib, where, thankfully, he is still sleeping at 7:30. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he sleeps through the night.
I only captured one non-crying moment today. He had just woken up and looked so darn cute in his dinosaur pyjamas.
This parenting thing is hard! How come nobody told me?!? One thing I will say, in response to some of the comments, is that I don't feel like a bad mother when Aaron bonks his head. Children get boo-boos.

Congrats you guys! I was so happy to discover that you are in Vietnam with Aaron. If I weren't so busy taking care of my own screaming 3 month old I might have called to tell you that this parenting thing is hard!!! There will be moments- good, bad and better. I am sure that there will be adjustments. Now that he has you he may be reluctant to let you go- even to sleep! Been there already....have you tried prune juice?? Supposedly works wonder- doesn't taste too bad to me...
Enjoying the blog and the pics.
Love Eileen

Ha Ha Ha you can't imagine how hard. It dosen't get easier either. Little children, little worries, big children........ Know what I mean. But someday you'll have grandchildren and you child will worry about his child eating, sleeping and flling down, Take it from one who knows. However we still get pleasure from our kids and that makes it all worthwile. Love and kisses Great Grandmas

Everyone told you it would be hard! But, who cares! If I hadn't pooped in that long I'd be grumpy too. What's the story with food? j
Beth and Mike,
Being a parent is the hardest thing you'll ever do, but it's also the best and most rewarding thing you will ever do. There is no other feeling in the world like it, as I'm sure you both have quickly learned. You are both learning each other now, what helps, what doesn't, the same as any new parent goes through. You'll get through it! Everyday is different, it will get better, I promise. You're awesome, have fun with your little guy!!!!!
